Gattaca's Coming

I love that movie, Gattaca, with it's dystopian retro-future settings of a world populated by perfect genetically-engineered human. It is scary to think of a world where every child were clinically gene-perfected, and accidental 'love-child' - naturally conceived - are considered an anomaly or even crippled.

The idea is a good one - I wouldn't want my future children to have critical illness for sure. But if everything's perfect, without stray quirkiness in natural genetics, Life would be boring.

And i found out from my fav sci-fi newsfeed io9, there are things already in motion. So here we are, closer to Gattaca in reality. http://www.genepartner.com
